Bell Helmets pioneered the motorsport helmet in 1954 and made notable advancements in its design a few years
later by introducing expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam
The 500-TX, one of Bell's earliest open-face helmets, was chosen by the Museum of Modern Art in New York for its
exceptional design excellence
The 500-TX helmet holds the distinction of being the first helmet to receive Snell approval, which established a
benchmark for product safety within the industry.
In 1966, Bell launched the world's first full-face motorsports helmet and quickly earned the admiration and support
of the world's top motorsport racers and enthusiasts.
During the 1970s, numerous renowned drivers such as Jacky Ickx, Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Gilles Villeneuve, and
many others entrusted the protection of their heads to the Bell Star helmet
Fast-forwarding 50-odd years, Bell is once again introducing the 500-TX Classic and the Star Classic, much to the
delight of dedicated classic car enthusiasts and historic car drivers
The same shape as the famous original Bell Helmets are reintroduced but produced to the last safety standard (FIA
8859/SNELL SA2020) using the latest production techniques and high tech materials.
